Chelsea hosted Luton Town at the Bridge while Madrid travelled to face Las Palmas but how did they fare?

Chelsea produced a Sterling performance

Chelsea were badly in need of a first win of the season and they also needed someone to spearhead that. Enter Raheem Sterling who got two goals and assisted one on the night.

The 28 year old was a menace in the entire game as his runs on the flank and was also linked well with Nicholas Jackson.

The first goal was a solo effort as he went past three players to place the ball into the net. He got the second after he turned in a low cross by an equally impressive Malo Gusto.

The Blues then made it three as Sterling turned provider to assist Nicholas Jackson.

Elsewhere, Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo were also very impressive as they combined well in the midfield.

Mauricio Pochettino needs leaders in the team to guide this young team especially in the attack and they will hope Raheem will take up the responsibility.

Bellingham delivering the goods again

When Madrid paid Borussia Dortmund €103 million (£88m) for Jude Bellingham they thought they got an attacking midfielder who can create chances for the forward player.
But the Englishman is now turning into a goal machine as he has taken the La Liga by storm with his goals for the club.

It’s only match day three in the league and he has already scored four and created one. The game at the Balaidos was headed for a draw until Bellingham scored from the corner to give Real Madrid victory.

Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti said they won’t be signing any other player this transfer window despite losing Karim Benzema but it seems Bellingham has it all covered.

Ligue 1: Monaco and Nantes share spoils in -goal fest

It was nothing short of entertaining in the Ligue 1 game between AS Monaco and Nantes FC that ended 3-3.

Mostafa Mohamed scored first of his two goals from the penalty spot. Nantes were in dreamland when defender, Jean-Charles Victor Castelletto made it two nil.

Ligue 1 pace-setters Monaco halved the deficit through Wissam Ben Yedder but Nantes restored their two goal advantage. Former Liverpool forward, Takumi Minamino restored hope with a goal before Myron Boadu rescued a point and avoid a defeat for the league leaders.
