PS Olubunmi Joins Panelists as Humanitarian Ministry Showcases Reforms at International Civil Service Conference in Abuja

The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction has taken an active role in the ongoing International Civil Service Conference holding in Abuja, highlighting the ministry’s commitment to strengthening public service delivery and social protection initiatives across Nigeria.
As part of activities on the second day of the conference, the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Mr. Olubunmi Olusanya, participated as a panelist during a high-level session focused on “Improving Service Delivery in Health, Education and Social Protection.”
During the discussion, the Permanent Secretary joined other stakeholders and public sector leaders in examining strategies for enhancing efficient service delivery, improving access to social services, and deepening reforms aimed at addressing the needs of vulnerable populations.

The conference, which has drawn participants from across government institutions and development sectors, provides a platform for collaboration, innovation, and the exchange of ideas on strengthening governance and public administration.
The ministry’s participation underscores the Federal Government’s continued commitment to advancing effective humanitarian response mechanisms, poverty reduction programmes, and inclusive social protection policies in line with national development objectives.
