The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), has ramped up its air operations across the country, delivering precision strikes against terrorists, insurgents, and criminal networks. The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, has directed Air Component Commanders to sustain continuous air dominance across multiple regions.
The NAF has enhanced its night vision capabilities, allowing it to operate with precision regardless of the hour.
The air force is utilizing real-time Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) feeds to guide its operations.
Recent operations have resulted in significant neutralizations of insurgents, including over 50 fighters eliminated in follow-up strikes.
“Terror will find no sanctuary, day or night. Our eyes are everywhere, and our resolve is unshaken… The night offers no more cover for enemies of the state.” “We have not only denied them freedom of movement, we have shattered their illusion of nighttime safety”, the CAS stated.
NAF’s intensified operations have instilled fear among terrorists, with many abandoning their positions due to the threat of “sudden death from above.” The air force’s enhanced capabilities and precision strikes have significantly degraded the operational capacity of terrorist groups.
Air Marshal Abubakar assured Nigerians that the NAF remains vigilant and committed to protecting lives and sovereignty. “Your Air Force is watching, flying, and striking… As long as we own the skies, terror will find no rest, day or night.”
