UFC 293: Strickland defeats Adesanya to claim middleweight title
Sean Strickland defeated Isreal Adeanya to become the new middleweight champion of the world with all judges scoring the fight in this favour.
A first-round knock down by the American was the highlight of the fight that went the whole five rounds.
Adesanya vs. Strickland took place on September 9th, at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. The main event started at 10 p.m. ET. The prelims began at 8 p.m. ET and the early prelims was live at 6:30 p.m.
