SOWENON UNVEILS ACTIVITIES TO PROMOTE GOOD GOVERNANCE, CIVIC EDUCATION AND HUMANITARIAN SUPPORT

A newly registered non-governmental and non-profit making organization, South, West, East, North of Nigeria (SOWENON) Coordinated Initiative, will on Monday, October 4, 2021 address a press conference at OZAS Suites and Garden, Karu, Abuja at 10.00am.

According to a release signed by the Director of Communications, of the organization, Elder Taiwo Shobajo, the Association Will launch it’s mission and vision to the nation at the event.
Elder Shobajo in the release stated that the organization is being floated to complement government’s laudable efforts in the area of good governance, empowerment programmes through capacity building; provision of humanitarian support and promotion of civic education among others. The Director of Communications further explained that the ultimate goal of the outfit is to work towards making Nigeria a country of our dream.

He added that the Chairman of Board of Trustees of SOWENON lnitiative, Dr Sam Jenfa who is unavoidably absent due to urgent assignments outside Nigeria shore will be represented by his Vice, Rev ( Dr) Sunday Onuche, JP at the event.
