Sandy Onor clinches PDP Governorship Ticket in Cross River State

Senator Sandy Onor has emerged as the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Cross River State ahead of the 2023 Gubernatorial election.

He Onor emerged the winner at the PDP Primaries held on Thursday, May 26, 2022, in Calabar, the Cross River State Capital.

Sen Onor amassed a total of 236 votes, followed by his closest rivals, Sen Gershom Bassey who scored 175 votes and Hon Daniel Asuquo (Dansuki) who scored 147 votes.

Sir Arthur Jarvis chalked up a total of 6 votes, Nkoyo Toyo scored 4 votes, Filia Henshaw scored 2 votes and Nsa Adegoke scored 1 vote.

Others are Mkpang CocoBassey and Eyo Okpo-Ene who scored zero votes respectively.
