Ogun NYSC Member Produces, Donates Hand Washing Soaps To State’s COVID-19 Programme

A member of the National Youth Service Corps in Ogun State, Adefisoye Adeshola Joseph with code number OG/19B/7322 has personally produced and donated 100 pieces of hand washing liquid soaps to the State Government’s COVID-19 programme.

While receiving the items in Abeokuta, the Hon Commissioner for Health , Dr Tomi Coker who was represented by the Director for Public Health , Dr. Soyinka appreciated the selfless act of the Corps Member, adding that his donation will surely go a long way in supporting the State government towards the fight against the dreaded corona virus pandemic as recipients of the liquid soaps are expected to use it to wash their hands regularly, thereby preventing them from contacting the disease .

On his part, the donor who said he used N10,000 out of his monthly allowance to buy the materials needed for the production of the soap, expressed his gratitude to the NYSC Ogun State Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) Programme which has enabled him learn the soap making vocational skills.
“This is the best time to use the skills I have acquired from the SAED Programme to give back to the society” he said
