NTAC DG Meets with Sokoto State Deputy Governor to Discuss Technical Aid Corps Mandate

The Director-General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Yusuf Buba Yakub, received in audience, the Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, H.E. Alh. Idris Muhammad Gobir, on May 20, 2025, to discuss the NTAC Scheme’s mandate and progress.

In a report shared today by the SA Media to the DG, Nkem Anyatta-Lafia, both leaders shared ideas on the mandate of the NTAC Scheme and the progress it has foisted on other developing nations across Africa, the Caribbean and Pacific Regions in almost the four positive decades of its operations.

Strategies and suggestions were also advanced on deepening the impacts of the Scheme in the years ahead , especially in the non-English speaking countries with contiguous boundaries with Nigeria.

The leaders reviewed the scheme’s impact on developing nations across Africa, the Caribbean, and Pacific regions over nearly four decades.
