Nigerian Army approves postings, appointments of Senior officers

 

 

The Nigerian Army on Thursday, 7th March 2019, approved the postings and appointments of some of its senior officers.

In a Statement by Acting Director Army Public Relations, Col. Sagir Musa on Thursday March 7, those affected include, Major General ECN OBI posted to Defence Headquarters as Chief of Defence Standard and Evaluation, Major General LF Abdullahi to Defence Headquarters as Director Veteran Affairs Division, Major General OG Adeniyi to Theatre Command (Operation LAFIA DOLE) as Deputy Theatre Commander, Brigadier General GK Nwosu, to Nigerian Army Special Forces School as Acting Commandant, Brigadier General CA Apere to 82 Division as Chief of Staff.

Similarly, Brigadier General KI Yusuf has been posted to Nigerian Army School of Finance and Account as Commandant, Brigadier General MNB Mamman to Headquarters Nigerian Army Engineers as Director Army Works, Brigadier General AD Gbadebo  to Nigerian Army School of Military Engineering as Deputy Commandant, Brigadier General SS Araoye to Nigerian Army Central Workshop as Commandant, Brigadier General CA Thomas to Defence Headquarters (Office of the Chief of Defence Staff) as Gender Adviser.

Others affected by this development are – Colonel DC Bako to remain in Sector 2 Operation LAFIA DOLE and appointed Acting Chief of Staff, Colonel SO Omotosho to Technical Group Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and appointed Acting Commander and Colonel LG Lepdung to remain in Headquarters Infantry Corps Centre and appointed Acting Director Research and Development among others.
