The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), recently paid a benchmarking visit to the National Communications Authority (NCA) of Ghana. This strategic move aims to foster a new partnership for regional regulatory growth and development in the telecoms sector.

The NCC delegation, led by Mr. Maigana Gidado Ahmed, was received by Edmund Fianko, the acting director general of NCA Ghana. The visit underscores the commitment of both regulatory bodies to strengthen their partnership and drive regional growth in the telecoms sector.

The visit will likely lead to the adoption of best practices and improved regulatory frameworks, enhancing the overall efficiency of the telecoms industry in both countries.
