INTERAGENCY COLLABORATION: NSCDC State Commandant Visits State Commander NDLEA In Nasarawa

The Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nasarawa State Command, Comdt. Ismaila Abdullahi today 18th, March, 2024, paid a familiarization visits to the Nasarawa State Commander of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Nasarawa State Command, Mr. Peter Onche Odaudu CN at his office in Lafia the State Capital.

The Commandant in his words, ‘it is impossible to separate crime and drugs, as every crime originate from the use of one drugs or the other, it is therefore imperative to partner with the NDLEA and other Critical stakeholders in the security architecture of Nasarawa State to bring crime to manageable state, this is what constitutes my visit today in your esteem office’ amongst other thing, the NSCDC Boss said.

The Commandant also expressed his utmost satisfaction for the warm reception the Commander, NDLEA accorded him and his team, he beseeched him for a stronger synergy between the Corps and his reputable Agency, to help get rid of illicit drugs in Nasarawa State, promising to shared intelligence to help in safeguarding the lives, properties as well as the Critical National Assets and Infrastructure in Nasarawa State and the country at large.

In his response, the State Commander NDLEA, Nasarawa State Command *Mr. Peter Onche Odaudu CN* in his words, we have no choice as security agency than to collaborate in our respective ways to make Nigeria and Nasarawa State in particular safe, no agency can do it alone, we are left with no choice than to strengthen our synergy and we should collaborate in all ramifications. I am delighted to have you today in my office, and I promise you, the synergy will only  stronger, I am honoured to see you, thank you for coming, the NDLEA Boss, concluded.
