Embassy of Bangladesh in Sudan Celebrate 72nd birthday of Shaheed Capt. Sheikh Kamal

The Embassy of Bangladesh in Khartoum organized programs on the occasion of the 72nd birth anniversary of Shaheed Capt. Sheikh Kamal, the eldest son of the Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a valiant freedom fighter who regarded as Father of the nation Bangladesh.
The occasion which was the first ever official program by the Embassy commemorated the life and works of Shaheed Capt. Sheikh Kamal.
Special dowa and munajat were offered for the salvation of his soul and peace and prosperity of the country.
A video on the life and accomplishment of Shaheed Capt. Sheikh Kamal was presented before the audience.
In his speech, the Charge d’ Affaires highlighted the contribution of Shaheed Capt. Sheikh Kamal in the independence war and in developing sports and cultural infrastructure in the early years of the country.
He paid rich tribute to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the architect of the country, Bangladesh.
About 35 expatriate Bangladeshis attended the program organized at the new chancery, which was a day old.
The community members expressed their gratefulness to the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh for opening a resident mission in Khartoum and were proud of attending the first ever official program in the Bangladesh Embassy in Khartoum.
