The National Executive President of the Nigeria Youth Organisation (NYO), Comrade Okorie C. Okorie MNCRA, has urged Nigerians to uphold the values of equity, justice, fair-play, and good governance as the country celebrates the 2025 Democracy Day Anniversary.
The NYO President felicitated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the entire Nigerian populace on the occasion of the 2025 Democracy Day Anniversary Celebrations.
Comrade Okorie urged all Nigerians to continue to uphold the values of equity, justice, fair-play, and good governance in order to build a virile, more united, and progressive Nigeria.
The NYO President emphasized the importance of young Nigerians remaining engaged, informed, and active participants in the democratic processes.
“June 12th is more than just a date on the calendar; it is a symbol of resilience, courage, and the unyielding spirit of Nigerians who stood firm for democracy, justice, and the right to self-determination.
“Any attempt by anybody, institution, or group of persons to rig the forthcoming 2027 General Election will be grossly resisted by the Nigerian Youths. Enough is Enough”, Okorie cautioned.
The NYO President called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to make adequate preparations to conduct a transparent, credible, and acceptable election in 2027, assuring that Nigerian youths are readily available to support INEC to achieve a hitch-free exercise.
