Bangladeshi govt congratulates Buhari on re-election

The President of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh (PRB), His Excellency Md. Abdul Hamid, the Prime Minister, Her Excellency Sheikh Hasina, have congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his re-election
In a press statement by the Bangladeshi High Commission on 12 March 2019, made available to News Dot Africa  ” H.E. Md. Abdul Hamid, President and Her Excellency Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of Bangladesh warmly congratulated H.E. Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for his re-election following recent Presidential election.”
President Hamid and Prime Minister Hasina described President Buhari’s re-election as a testimony of his wise leadership, political acumen and trust of the people on his ability to take the country forward.
“While noting that Bangladesh and Nigeria enjoy cordial bilateral relations which are marked my commonality of views in many areas, both the President and Prime Minister expressed their hope that the close ties and friendship existing between the two friendly countries will witness further improvement in the coming days” the statement noted.
“Bangladesh attaches great importance to its relations ‘with Nigeria, and Bangladesh will make necessary steps to unlock the true potentials of the two countries for the mutual benefit of the two friendly countries” they added.
The People’s Republic of Bangladesh is the world’s eighth most populous country, and its most densely populated.  It has achieved self sufficiency in agriculture, sustainable education and standard heath care system
The country is loved for its lush green landscape and numerous waterways and one of the most known means of transport is the use of boats. Bangladesh is home to Cox’s Bazar, the longest Sea beach in the world.
