Ajia Engages APC Stakeholders in Kwara Central for Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election …. Unveils Ajia Progressive Alliance for Asiwaju/Shettima 2027 to deepen grassroots mobilisation across Kwara State

A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, Ph.D., has intensified political mobilisation for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections by engaging critical stakeholders across Kwara Central and unveiling the Ajia Progressive Alliance for Asiwaju/Shettima (APAAS) 2027, a grassroots political movement dedicated to strengthening support for the President’s second-term bid.

The strategic engagement recently held at Ajia’s residence in Ilorin, attracted party elders, political leaders, women and youth representatives, grassroots mobilisers and other influential APC stakeholders from across Kwara Central.

This was contained in a statement issued at the end of the meeting by Ajia’s Director of Communications and Strategy, Mallam Abdulrahman Aliagan, and made available to journalists.

According to the statement, the engagement forms part of a broader statewide consultation designed to consolidate support for President Tinubu, strengthen the APC’s grassroots structures and ensure overwhelming electoral victory for the party in Kwara State during the 2027 general elections.

Addressing participants, Ajia who is the Dan Amanan Fune Emirate of Yobe State described President Tinubu’s re-election as a collective responsibility of every loyal APC member, stressing that the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda requires continuity to achieve its long-term objectives.

He urged party members to remain united, committed and focused on mobilising support across communities, wards and local government areas.

“Our priority is to ensure the successful re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. We must close ranks, strengthen our structures and work together to deliver Kwara State convincingly for our great party. Unity, consultation and grassroots mobilisation remain the foundation of this mission,” Ajia said.

The Ilorin-born security expert and business tycoon explained that the Ajia Progressive Alliance for Asiwaju and Shettima 2027 was established as a strategic mobilisation platform to coordinate support for President Tinubu, expand the APC’s grassroots reach and encourage greater participation of youths, women and other critical stakeholders in the political process.

He further announced plans to establish a Strategic Think Tank Team that will coordinate political planning, develop mobilisation strategies, engage with the national leadership of the APC and oversee activities across the sixteen local government areas of Kwara State.

He also disclosed that a dedicated coordinating office would soon be established to serve as the operational headquarters of the movement.

While acknowledging the importance of internal cohesion within the party, Ajia assured members that all stakeholders would continue to be carried along through regular consultations and constructive engagement in order to strengthen the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.

Several stakeholders who spoke at the meeting commended Ajia’s initiative, describing it as a timely intervention that would energise the party’s grassroots base and reinforce support for President Tinubu across Kwara State.

Hon. Ahmed Jimoh described the initiative as a significant step toward strengthening the APC ahead of the next general elections, noting that sustained consultation and inclusiveness would further consolidate the party’s electoral fortunes.

Prince Reuben Olatunde, representing the Indigenous Christian community from Marafa/Pepele in Ilorin East Local Government Area, emphasised the importance of collaboration among all segments of the party to ensure a united front in delivering victory for the APC in 2027.

Dr. Saadat Yetunde Yusuf called for the active participation of women and youths in the mobilisation campaign, stressing that broader inclusion would enhance the effectiveness of the movement and deepen public support for President Tinubu.

Other speakers, including Yusuf Amuda (Adewole), Alhaja Lateefat, Maruf Inujin, Tunde Bifuwe of Ilorin West and Balogun Okunlola of Ilorin South and others across the four local government areas that formed Kwara Central pledged their support for the initiative and urged members to intensify grassroots mobilisation, voter engagement and sustained political consultations ahead of the elections.

The meeting adopted far-reaching resolutions, including the establishment of the Strategic Think Tank Team, the rollout of a statewide mobilisation framework under the Ajia Progressive Alliance for Asiwaju 2027, regular stakeholder engagements across Kwara State and the establishment of a coordinating office to drive the movement’s activities.

Participants unanimously reaffirmed their commitment to working tirelessly for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, pledging to strengthen the APC’s structures, promote unity and mobilise massive grassroots support across all sixteen local government areas of Kwara State.

The statement added that the Kwara Central engagement marks the first in a series of consultations that will be extended to the remaining local government areas of the state as part of a comprehensive strategy to deliver overwhelming support for President Tinubu and further consolidate the APC’s dominance in Kwara State.
