Adeyanju Assumes Office as RMAFC Secretary, Pledges to Advance Commission’s Mandate

ABUJA — The newly appointed Secretary of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Comrade Tosin Johnson Adeyanju, has formally assumed office, pledging to contribute his best towards the actualisation of the Commission’s constitutional mandate.
Speaking during the handover ceremony held on Tuesday at the Commission’s new boardroom in Abuja, Adeyanju assured members and staff of his commitment to collaborative leadership aimed at strengthening the institution’s effectiveness in carrying out its responsibilities.
He commended his predecessor, Engr. Joseph Nwaze Okechukwu, for his dedicated service to the nation and pledged to build on the foundation laid during his tenure. Adeyanju also expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the confidence reposed in him through his appointment.
The outgoing Secretary, Engr. Joseph Nwaze Okechukwu, thanked the Chairman, members and staff of the Commission for the support and cooperation he received during his tenure. He urged them to extend the same level of commitment and support to his successor to ensure continuity in the Commission’s operations.
Before his appointment, Adeyanju served as Executive Secretary of the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF), where he provided administrative leadership and supervised the implementation of the Fund’s statutory mandate.
His appointment followed the expiration of the tenure of the immediate past Secretary and is expected to strengthen the Commission’s administrative machinery as it continues to discharge its constitutional responsibilities.
The assumption of office marks the beginning of a new phase in the administrative leadership of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission.
