In a heartwarming display of kindness and generosity, philanthropist Chief Emmanuel Okewulonu, popularly known as Ikeoha Okigwe, is set to bring joy to thousands of widows and less privileged individuals in Okigwe Zone this Christmas.
The annual Widows’ Day initiative, observed on December 26, has been expanded to cover the entire Okigwe Zone, after initially starting in Avutu and Obowo. This year’s outreach will see the distribution of essential items like clothing, rice, pasta, cooking oil, and cash gifts to those in need.
Chief Okewulonu’s selfless act is particularly remarkable given his recent involvement in the federal election and the financial commitments that came with it. His commitment to humanitarian work has earned him widespread admiration, and his efforts are expected to bring smiles to countless faces this Christmas.
The Ikeoha Solidarity Forum is calling on others to emulate Chief Okewulonu’s spirit of kindness and compassion, emphasizing that collective acts of kindness can make a significant difference in society.
