Abuja, Nigeria – Honourable Minister of Transportation, Senator Said Ahmed Alkali has congratulated the Gombe State born Comrade Alhassan Yahaya, who has emerged as the National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), at the just concluded 8th Triennial Delegate Conference.

Comrade Yahaya’s landslide victory, with 436 votes out of 582, is a testament to his leadership qualities and the trust that his colleagues have in him.

A press release signed by Umar Alkali Jibril, Special Assistant on Media to the Hon Minister of Transportation stated,
