‘Arsenal Golf Course’ Obinze is a promising and interesting 18 hole golf course set in a serene part of Owerri, the capital of Imo State but it looks like not many people know this treasure is located in Imo State.

The Special Adviser to the Imo State Governor was a guest of HRM. IGWE of Orlu (DR.) Rick Acholonu 111 who invited her to ‘Luke Anele Tournament’ earlier today the 14th of November 2020.

Our reporters gathered that Hon. Cllr. Celia Osakwe-Hibbert was pleasantly surprised to behold such a mesmerising sporting facility just a stone throw, from the heart of the city!

Governor Uzodimma’s aide who’s Masters degree is in Sports & Exercise Science stated that “Imo is indeed the place to visit. I’m in shock to only see this for the first time, especially having studied here in IMSU for 4years during my 1st degree”. How did I not know about this beautiful place? She asked! “I definitely recommend a visit to this course to all Diasporans coming into Imo this Christmas.

“You don’t have to be a golfer to visit; you can picnic or take a walk with your family and friends”.

The course is challenging and well set out and agreeably, a must try if you are in the vicinity of Imo State.

Hole 9 is named after HRM. Igwe of Orlu, today’s host of the Special Adviser on Diaspora.
