ZAKIYYA MASARI’S PET PROJECT, FETCHES HER MOST VALUABLE GOVERNOR’S WIVES AWARD

THE Wife of Katsina State Governor Haj. Zakiyya Aminu Bello Masari has received the most Valuable Governor’s Wives Award in recognition of her Selfless Service to Humanity.

Receiving the Award the Governor’s wife Haj. Zakiyya Aminu Bello Masari said, she was happy to be considered for such wonderful award, while calling on leaders to always considered less privileged persons who need assistance in the society.

“It’s high time for leaders to recognize their electorates who deserve special assistance”.

Zakiyya Aminu Bello Masari, explained that her pet project, Women Youth and Children Improve Support Initiative, basically helping the needy through empowerment, health, education, farming, given scholarship, provision of drugs to sickle cell among others.

While dedicating the Award to Women of Katsina State, the Governor’s wife assured to continue rendering service to humanity and to initiates more oriented programs gear toward women and youth for development to thrive.

The chairman of the occasion, Mr Valentine’s Ozigbo, said the most valuable Governor’s wives Award is designed to lead and recognition of the governors’ wives who are providing complimentary achievement to the Governor’s achievement to become part of the democratic team that have been providing the grassroots achievement.

Mr Valentine added that the Governor’s wives assessment was based on their project availabilities in the public domain, their impact on beneficiaries are also considered.

In a good will message, the Director General Small and Medium Enterprises, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda whose text was read by Mr Friday Okpara, congratulate the awardees for being among the most valuable award.

He said the Agency have been recognizing Women and Youth through Entrepreneurship to boost their economic growth.

Other Awardees were wives of Bauchi State Governor, Dr Aisha Bala Muhammed, Zamfara, Aisha Matawalle, Kaduna, Hajia Hadiza El-rufa I., Kano, Haj. Hafsat Ganduje, Sokoto, Adamawa, Ekiti, and Edo State respectively.
