Nigeria is taking a significant step in combating corruption by partnering with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). The Federal Ministry of Youth Development (FMYD) has joined forces with UNODC to empower young Nigerians in the fight against corruption. This landmark partnership, announced on International Anti-Corruption Day, aims to harness the power of Nigeria’s youth to drive positive change.

At the heart of this initiative is the Nigeria Youth Help Desk, a platform designed to amplify young voices in the fight against corruption. This platform will provide a dedicated space for young people to report corruption, seek support, and build solutions for strong institutions.

The FMYD and UNODC are committed to extending this initiative to local governments, ensuring that Nigerian youth have access to justice and opportunities for participation, regardless of their background. This partnership is a testament to the government’s commitment to empowering young Nigerians and tackling corruption head-on.
