THE ELECTORAL INSTITUTE RECEIVES MALAWIAN ELECTORAL COMMISSION

The Management of The Electoral Institute (TEI) today, Thursday 8th July, 2021 received a delegation from the Malawian Electoral Commission. Led by the Chief Electoral Commissioner of Malawi, and accompanied by other senior officers of the Malawian Electoral Commission.
The delegation was received by the Director-General, TEI and were treated to brief conference and a study tour of The Electoral Institute.
The DG, TEI in his brief presentation at the TEI Conference room intimated the delegation on the TEI Objectives, Vision, Mission and Core values. The DG, TEI in a presentation presented the Departments and Units existing in TEI, their leadership, roles, functions and mandates as specified in the Implementation Guidelines of TEI.
Conclusively, the DG TEI led the visitors on a facility tour to the TEI Virtual and Physical Libraries.
The Malawian delegation also visited the INEC GIS Laboratory, currently housed within the Electoral Institute.
Also present during the visit was a delegation from Electoral Operations and Voter Education and Publicity Departments, ably led by the respective Directors of the departments.
The visit was brought to a close at about 2:15 pm amidst warm exchanges of pleasantries, as both visitors and hosts shared group photographs to commemorate the visit.
