Senator John Owan Enoh Pays Last Respect to Late Professor Ayuk

The Honourable Minister of State for Industry, Senator John Owan Enoh, accompanied by his beloved wife, Mrs. Rachael Owan Enoh, joined mourners in paying final respects to the late Professor Atu Ausaji Ayuk, renowned scholar, respected community leader, and elder statesman, at a funeral ceremony held today, June 21, 2025, in his hometown of Bendeghe Ekiem, Etung Local Government Area, Cross River State.

Delivering heartfelt condolences, Senator Enoh described the late academic as “a man of profound intellect, integrity, and uncommon devotion to the service of humanity.” He praised Professor Ayuk not only as a revered intellectual force but also as a mentor whose influence extended well beyond the lecture halls.

“Prof. Ayuk was more than an academic of great repute; he was a beacon of wisdom and character, whose life touched countless individuals across generations,” Senator Enoh remarked.

The farewell drew a diverse gathering of clergy, community leaders, scholars, and dignitaries from within and outside the state, each offering reflections on the enduring legacy of a man whose contributions left an indelible mark on his people and profession.

Professor Atu Ausaji Ayuk has been laid to rest at his ancestral home, where his legacy will continue to inspire generations yet to come.
