He made this known during a visit by the Cross River State Journalists Forum (CROSSJOF) to his Abuja residence.
Sen. Jarigbe emphasized that his primary duty is to fulfill his social contract with his constituents touching on all the wards, which includes providing infrastructure facilities and enhancing human capital development.
He highlighted his achievements in the past two years, including providing water, electricity, rural electrification, roads, school blocks, and laboratory equipment to various communities.
The senator said he has empowered some of his constituents with funds to start businesses and supported others with school fees.

On Bills and Motions; Sen. Jarigbe disclosed that he has pending bills, including the establishment of a federal medical center, which has gone through the second reading and public hearing. He also mentioned that some of his bills, such as the federal university of technology and federal polytechnic, Ogoja bill, are awaiting presidential assent.
On Defection and State Creation; The senator expressed no concern over the recent defections of some opposition senators to the ruling APC, saying he is committed to staying with his people in PDP.
