NSCDC NABS 4 CAR SNATCHING SYNDICATE, 1 CULTIST IN NASARAWA

… Criminals have no hidden place in Nasarawa State Under my Watch- State Commandant

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nasarawa State Command has apprehended four (4) suspected car snatching syndicate in Mararaba, Karu LGA, Keffi, and Akwanga local government areas, where the suspects individually resides.

The suspects, Awal Husseini m’ 22 yrs, Shadrach Ibrahim male, 25yrs, Ibrahim Badamasi male, 22yrs and Yusuf Adams AKA Kahuta male, 25yrs, where arrested in different time and location within the state.

This was made known by the Command Public Relations Officer DSC Jerry Victor, at the Command Headquarters in Lafia the State Capital, while briefing news men.

The Spokesman, said, the suspects confessed to have burgled a house in Sabo Angwa in Akwanga Local government area of Nasarawa State, and cart away laptops, phones and other valuables including a car, the preliminary investigation revealed.

The suspects Awal Husseini and Yusuf Adamu who were both ex-convict, confessed to have been in this crime for some time now, until they met their Waterloo.

The State Commandant, Ismaila Abdullahi vowed to stamp out criminals and criminality in Nassarawa State, he appealed to Traditional rulers, community Heads, Governmental and Non Governmental Organization and other Critical stakeholders in the security architecture of Nasarawa State to join in this, to make Nasarawa a crime free state, the NSCDC Boss said.

In the same vein, the Command has arrested a 17yrs old Mohammed Abubakar Bello for inflicting grevious injury using a matchet on someone, the victim is rushed to a medical facility for medical attention.

He urged the general public to be proactive in crime reporting, and also report any crime to NSCDC office or any security agency closest to them.
