NiMet SoS Review Committee Meets To Harmonize Draft Report

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), Committee on the Review of the Agency’s Scheme of Service, SoS, met Monday to harmonize its draft report.

In her welcome address to the members, the Chairperson of the committee, and Director Human Resource Management, Hajiya Rabi Mohammed Daku disclosed that the second phase of the meeting is essentially to consider whether the necessary observation and review made by the Committee during the last work session have been captured accordingly by the Secretariat.

“Members of the Committee are hereby welcome to this second phase of the Committee work session to consider whether the necessary observation and review made by the Committee during our last session have been captured accordingly by the Secretariat”. She explained.

It could be recalled that the Committee on the Review of the Scheme of Service was inaugurated by the Director General/CEO, Prof. Mansur Bako Matazu on the 5th of August, 2021 with the mandate to review the Agency’s Scheme of Service that was approved on the 28 of February, 2012 by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF).

The objective of the review is to align the Agency’s SoS with the current economic and occupational reality.
