NIGERIANS SHOULD TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS ON COVID-19, SAYS SAHEED FAWEHINMI  ……… Clarifies on cause of brothers death

Saheed Fawehinmi has advised Nigerians to take necessary precautions on prevention and contacting the Covid-19 virus.

Saheed, second son of late Gani FAWEHINMI and the immediate younger brother of late Barrister Muhammad Fawehinmi made the statement on  Thursday August 19th, 2021 at a press conference held to clarify on the cause of death and give the full details of the burial plans of late Barrister Muhammad Fawehinmi family, at Gani Fawehinmi family house.

These press conference was held to give clarification on the cause of the death of Barrister Muhammad Fawehinmi and also to give the full details of the burial plan which has already been announced.

According to Saheed Fawehinmi, who said late Mohammed Fawehinmi, his brother died of covid-19 related complications used the forum opportunity to urge all Nigerians to take necessary precautions to avoid being infected by the deadly disease which also include taking required doses of covid-19 vaccines, regular sanitizing, wearing of face masks, regular hand washing with soaps and maintaining social distancing.

He adviced the Government of Nigeria to step up its public enlightenment campaign on the deadly character of the disease so that many Nigerians, most especially those whose immune system could easily be compromised due to their underlying illness, to take the safety measures which was stated above.

In addendum and in line of their late brother’s consistent advocacy, they family and associates called on the federal and state government to invest more in health care and urged the government to do all that is necessary to end the ongoing strike by the Member of the National Association of Residents Doctors.

However, the burial service of songs and night of tributes of their late brother will hold on Wednesday August 25th, 2021 at Archbishop vining cathedral in Ikeja from 4pm to 7pm.

On Friday August 27th ,2021, the remains of late Muhammad would be interred at Gani Fawehinmi family compound in Ondo state after briefs funeral service.

The entire family thanked those who contacted them through calls, visits , tributes and also those who were with them during their difficult period. They appreciated the Nigerian media and journalists for their support and apologised for any inconvenience anyone may have encountered in the process of reporting the passage of their brother.
