NAF Launches Precision Airstrikes Against Terrorists in Niger State

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), has carried out a series of precision air strikes targeting terrorist hideouts in Niger State. The operation, conducted under Operation FANSAN YAMMA Sector 1, aimed to neutralize threats, destroy terrorist logistics, and support ground forces battling insurgents on multiple fronts.
NAF aircraft executed multiple waves of precision strikes, neutralizing scores of terrorists, destroying their logistics, and disrupting regrouping efforts in Kakihun and Kumbashi communities.
The operation was made possible through credible intelligence and inter-service and inter-agency cooperation, showcasing NAF’s rapid response capability and strong coordination with ground forces and other agencies.
Local sources confirmed that civilians were safeguarded throughout the operation, and hundreds of stolen cattle were recovered and returned to local herders.
According a press statement made available to News Dot Africa through Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information, the Nigerian Air Force reaffirmed its commitment to protecting lives and maintaining peace across the country. “NAF “remains resolutely committed to protecting the lives and property of all Nigerians and ensuring lasting peace across the country”. he concluded.
