The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs H. E. Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama on Monday 14th December 2020, commissioned a new automatic generator for use as alternative source of power at the Headquarter building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja.

The Honourable Minister who was visible elated by the provision of an alternative source of power for the Ministry’s edifice also known as Tafawa Balewa House was accompanied at the commissioning by Honourable Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, H. E. Amb. Zubairu Dada.

H.E. Geoffrey Onyeama speaking at the event assured that the ministry is poised for greater service delivery as the haphazard power supply over the past ten years had affected quality of work, moral of staff and every aspects of the functioning of the Ministry.

While appreciating the efforts of all those who were instrumental to the delivery of the generator, the Honourable Minister paid glowing tribute to the late Chairman of Bullet Construction, Alhaji Ismaila Isa Funtua OFR, mni, for keeping to his promise to deliver the generator.

Top management staff of the Ministry and officials of Bullet construction including its Executive Director, Lawal Isa, were present at the commissioning.
