FOOTBALL: Mane is now a Bavarian

Senegal forward, Sadio Mane has joined Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich from Liverpool in a deal worth thirty five million pounds.

The former African Footballer of the year signed a three year deal for the Bundesliga champions.

Liverpool, who had turned down two separate bids from Bayern will be getting 32m euros (£27.4m) with an additional 6m euros based on appearances, plus 3m euros for individual and team achievements.

The thirty year old Mané had a year left on his deal and was absolutely delighted to join his new club .

Since joining Liverpool, he scored 120 goals in 269 games, finishing last season with 23 goals in all competitions.

He also helped Liverpool win the Premier League, Champions League and two domestic titles
