KATSINA MARKETS FIRE: Friends of Secretary to Government of Katsina donate N10m

Friends of Secretary to the Government of Katsina State, Dr Mustapha Inuwa from within and outside the State have donated the sum of ten million naira to the adversely affected victims of the two fire incidents that gutted Katsina and Funtua Central Markets last month.
The committee of friends of Dr Mustapha Inuwa led by the Dan Galadima Sokoto, Alhaji Hassan Sarki Rafi.
According to Dan Galadima Sokoto, they were at the Katsina Central Market to commensurate with the State Government and its people over the two ugly fire outbreak that consumed goods worth billions of naira in the two markets.
He noted that the donation was to caution the effects of traders at the markets and called on the adversely affected victims to take solace in Almighty Allah the giver of all.
Receiving the entourage on behalf of the State Government, the Special Adviser to Katsina State Governor on Market Development, Abubakar Yusuf said they are overwhelmed by the show of love and care shown by a committee of friends to Secretary to Katsina State Government, Dr Mustapha Inuwa and prayed Allah to bless them accordingly.
Both Chairmen of the two fire incidents, Katsina and Funtua Central Markets expressed gratitude to Dr Mustapha Inuwa and friends for sympathizing and promised to make judicious use of the money.
The 10 million naira donation meant for the two markets are to be shared as 7 million naira is to be given to Katsina Central Market and the remaining 3 million naira goes to Funtua Central Markets respectively.
