IMO SA ON DIASPORA RECEIVES GOLD MEDALIST CHIOMA AJUNWA-OPARA

Imo Special Adviser on Diaspora receives the First and Only Nigerian Olympic Gold Medalist, . This is inline with consultations towards a brand new initiative kick started by SA Diaspora Hon. Cllr.Celia Osakwe-Hibbert. This initiative is known as Imo Diaspora Athletes Engagement, many top Imo Diaspora Athletes have already keyed in, in the short period of time this initiative started. The most recent big name being Chioma AJUNWA-OPARA. Till date, Chioma remains the only Nigerian individual who is an Olympic Gold Medalist.The Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma remains committed to rehabilitation and recovery of talents in Imo.
