When NEWS DOT AFRICA Correspondent contacted  Sir Gabe Onah to  confirm the incident he stated, “This is my Family compound in the village with two major buildings. One built in 1969 and the second one here built in 1975/76 or thereabout by my Dad – late Chief David Onah ( Idea) who was a businessman and Contractor , community leader, selfless in many ways , social Engineer, peace lover and one time board member of chronicle and Chairman of ADC Board (Agric Dev Board). Both houses got torched this morning in the communal crisis .. In God we Trust ..

“True, it’s a needless crisis from among brothers . For example, I come from both communities..!
May God touch us all”, he prayed.

Sympathisers wondered what the clash has to do with the household of the Onahs in view of Sir Gabe’s unrelenting generosity. Tangible efforts include but not limited to provision of boreholes for both clommunities.

In alleviating the sufferings of both communities on lack of water, he provided three Borehole water points for each of the communities to ease their pains and a Borehole to the village primary school in 2018 because water is the main problem of the Community.
