The quiet community of Saburi 2, a suburb in the FCT was agog on 28th Dec. 2019 when the ‘donation train’ of the Face of Hope Foundation paid a visit to share love and warmth.

Led by the Project Coordinator of the NGO, the Creative Director of Grazee Stitches, Ms Grace Ibironke Ojo and supported by King of Hope, Master Daniel Oluseyi Faro and friends of the foundation, FHF blessed the highly elated community with gifts of clothing, fashion pieces, toiletries, rice, noodles and other household items.

Backed by their mandate to alleviate the sufferings of people in the society, the FHF  ensured everyone that came out felt loved and had some of their needs met.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Ojo said: “The whole idea in always going to the suburbs was because they are mostly neglected. As such, one should reach out to them in love.

“Face of Hope Foundation has been giving back to society for several years now. It is not because we have so much, but the fact that there are a lot of people needing help in our society and the government cannot reach them all. We will continue to do our part in alleviating the sufferings of the needy around us in our own little way. Seeing the beautiful smiles on the faces of those we touch gives us joy and we are glad to bring such joy”.

Speaking on behalf of the community, Alhaji Mohammed Yamawo Dakach Saburi, appreciated the benevolent act of the team whilst praying that God would bless the team continually.

The Foundation, had on 2nd October, 2019  visited Shape village in Waru District, situated after Apo Mechanic Village to donate Desks and Chairs for the primary school pupils who hitherto had to bring their own furniture before they could sit and learn.

The Village Head and the pupils took delivery of the furniture with excitement, whilst thanking the Face of Hope Foundation for the timely intervention which has brought succour to the parents, pupils and teachers of the school.

The two projects were executed as scheduled to round off activities for 2019.
