Federal Ministry of Transportation Honors 2024 Retirees in Abuja

The Federal Ministry of Transportation recently organized a send-forth ceremony to honor its 2024 retirees. The event, held at the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs main auditorium in Abuja on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, was attended by key stakeholders, including the Director Overseeing the Office of Permanent Secretary Transportation (DOOPST), Musa Ibrahim, represented by the Director, Human Resources, Mrs. Aileru Jumoke.

Mrs. Jumoke delivered the keynote address, expressing appreciation for the retirees’ years of service to the nation. She also prayed that their labor would be remembered forever and wished them the best in their future endeavors.

One of the retirees, former Director of Legal Services Barr. Pius Oteh, thanked the Honorable Minister, Distinguished Senator Said Ahmed Alkali, the DOOPST, Musa Ibrahim, and the entire management and staff of the Ministry for honoring them.

This ceremony marks a significant milestone in the careers of the retirees, recognizing their dedication and contributions to the transportation sector.
