The National President of the APC Initiative for Good Governance (APC-IGG), Ambassador Musa Muhammed Tsoken, has praised the political contributions of the Member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, describing him as a longstanding ally of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Tsoken, who is also the National Coordinator of the Asiwaju Again Renewed Hope Support Initiative 2027, said Faleke’s relationship with the President was built on years of political association, mutual trust and a shared commitment to progressive politics.

In a statement, he highlighted Faleke’s role in Lagos politics, his legislative responsibilities and his contributions to the activities of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to Tsoken, Faleke has maintained a longstanding political relationship with President Tinubu, dating back to his early involvement in grassroots political mobilisation in Lagos.

He noted that Faleke had remained associated with the Tinubu political movement over the years, describing him as a political ally whose experience and organisational skills have contributed to the activities of the ruling party.

Tsoken said Faleke’s political engagement extended beyond Lagos to other parts of the country, including Kogi State, where he has maintained political connections.

As Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Finance, Faleke plays a role in legislative oversight of Nigeria’s fiscal and revenue framework.

Tsoken said Faleke’s legislative responsibilities were important to discussions on revenue mobilisation, budget implementation, economic reforms and the funding of national development priorities.

He added that the lawmaker’s legislative activities and political engagements reflected his support for the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

However, the effectiveness of these efforts would ultimately be assessed through legislative records, oversight outcomes and their measurable impact on public finances and development.

The APC-IGG president also highlighted Faleke’s involvement in political mobilisation and party support initiatives, including the APC Initiative for Good Governance and the Asiwaju Again Renewed Hope Support Initiative 2027.

According to him, Faleke’s political network and experience in grassroots organisation could contribute to the party’s mobilisation efforts across different regions.

Tsoken described the lawmaker as a bridge-builder whose political relationships cut across parts of the South-West, North-Central and other regions.

He further maintained that sustained engagement with party members and grassroots supporters would remain important to the APC’s political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Tsoken also congratulated Faleke on his stated role as Deputy Director-General of the Presidential Campaign Council, alongside Senator Abdul-azeez Yari, whom he identified as Director-General.

He commended members of the council for their involvement in the party’s political activities and expressed support for efforts to sustain the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The statement comes as political actors and support groups continue to position themselves ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Tsoken reaffirmed his organisation’s commitment to promoting the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration, while describing Faleke’s longstanding political association with the President as a defining feature of his public political career.
