The Chief of the Air Staff, Sunday Kelvin Aneke, has demonstrated a strong people-centric leadership approach during his operational visit to Bauchi State, engaging directly with frontline personnel of the Nigerian Air Force.

Moving beyond routine briefings, the CAS interacted closely with troops, sharing a meal with them and conducting a firsthand assessment of their welfare, feeding arrangements, and living conditions. The gesture underscored his commitment to leading from the front and staying connected with personnel at the operational level.

The visit provided an opportunity for candid feedback from troops, further strengthening trust, boosting morale, and reinforcing cohesion within the ranks as the Service continues to sustain a high operational tempo in defence of the nation.

Air Marshal Aneke reaffirmed that the welfare of personnel remains a top priority under his leadership, noting that motivated and well-cared-for troops are critical to maintaining operational effectiveness and national security.
