BE PROACTIVE — KATSINA SGS INUWA TO FRCS

THE Secretary to Katsina State Government in Nigeria, QS Mustapha Inuwa challenged the Federal Road Safety Corp, FRSC to be more proactive while discharging their official duties.
He made this known while playing host to the Sector Commandant of the Katsina State command, Ali Sule Tainimu and his entourage in his office, Katsina.
The Secretary to Katsina State Government noted with dismay the manners in which road users exhibits noting that it has contributed to the high rate of road crashes.
“Nigerians are easily identified in any country for reckless driving and your men are not doing what is required less the aims of the corps be defeatef”.
“The situation of overloading, underage drivers, reckless driving are seen every day in the highways, that is why road crashes are of the high rate. Brace up in your operational system to avert road crashes.
QS Mustapha Inuwa added that people plying Nigeria highways should be thoroughly checked not only seat belt which is also important but look into these things mentioned “It is sad, people are dying every day on our roads” he added.
He again called on FRSC to employ the unemployed young Nigerians into the sector as measure to address lack of man power as he promised the State government of support.
Earlier, the Katsina State Sector Commandant, Ali Sule Tainimu commensurate with the government over the unfortunate fire incident at the Central Market.
He solicited for workable tools such as patrol vans and accommodations to the newly posted station officers to the state.
“Station officers duties was to among others hospital visitation to have a comprehensive data when accident occur, collaborate with police in times of emergency, and they are posted to all the 34 LGAs because FRSC Katsina has only 4 operational command, and we cannot cover all these areas hence the formation of station officers across federation”.
