APC Postpones its Primary Election for 2027 House of Representatives General Election to Set for May 16 2026

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed its primary election for House of Representatives primary election for the 2027 general election to set May 16 2016
The party , however, said the previously announced date for senate, , State house of Assembly, governorship, and presidential primaries remain unchanged.
This was announced on Thursday 14 may in a press statement issued by the party secretary Felix Morka.According to the statement. The House of Representatives primary, earlier scheduled for earlier date, will now hold on Saturday, May 16 2026.
The party listed the revised timeable for the primary as follow
House of Rep – may16
Senate-Monday may 18
State House of Assembly- Wednesday 20
Governorship- Thursday 21
Presidential – Saturday may 23
The party noted that the change of date was only for House of Representatives primary elections, All other schedules for APC 2027 primary election remain intact.
