Aisha Buhari urges Artistes to use talents for peace, unity

Artistes who are popularly known for their lyrics and line of songs has been called upon by the wife of the president AISHA BUHARI to use their talent and popularity in mobilizing Nigerians towards unity, tolerance and  peaceful  coexistence among each other.

Mrs Buhari also urged them to speak against drug abuse, human trafficking, child abuse among others.

She made the call during the launching of “Sakamakon chanji”  a song supporting president Muhamadu  Buhari by Northern Artistes on Wednesday, at the banquet hall state house Abuja.

She said that it is important for the citizens to know what their elected government is doing to make their lives better, as the song is a true complement of this administration, it visualises various visionary projects being undertaken by the president.

Aisha Buhari  through the event honoured some of the Artistes that were present and urged them to continue using their talents to propagate the present administration.

She further said that “we are celebrating Artistes because they have always celebrated the president in his political career and to some extent represented the resilient Nigeria masses  who protected the president and his votes until he achieved success, I can boldly say that you all have done the needful  and you are partly to take credit for the improved governance that Nigeria is enjoying today”.

The event was honored by a brief appearance of President Muhammed Buhari in person.
The song artistes were not left out as over 30 of them mounted the stage for the song performance and other artistes who also sang related song on the success story of the president.
