Imo State University honours Late Justice Chukwudifu Oputa

The late Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Chukwudifu Oputa, was given a Posthumous  award by  the faculty of law Imo State University in Owerri on Tuesday, October 30, 2018.
The Lord Chancellor of the institution, Ahuche Emmanuel expressed delight when making the presentation to Barr. George Oputa,  a son to the late recipient.
Justice Chukwudifu Oputa  was presented with the Posthumous Award in memory and recognition of his immense contribution to the growth and welfare of the justice  system in Nigeria and the world at large.
Ahuche further reinstated his commitment toward the forthcoming Justice Chukwudifu Oputa’s Annual Conference scheduled to hold on the 3rd-4th of December, 2018 in Abuja.
“I and the entire team of the school will attend the Annual Conference of Justice Chukwudifu Oputa and as such I wish to use this medium to advice well meaning Nigerians to be in attendance as to collectively fashion out a better future for the country” he said.
In appreciation Barr. George Oputa expressed delight and overwhelming joy for the honour to his late father.
“The entire family of Late Justice Chukwudifu Oputa heartily appreciates the memorable occasion in respect to the Award Presentation organised by the management of the University.”
Barrister George noted that the family of Oputa would forever remain grateful, and that the late Justice would be glad wherever he is to know that such an occasion is organised in appreciation of all his deeds when he was alive.
