APPMEN, 7AI Launch Money Recovery Clinic for Nigerian Content Creators

ABUJA, August 31, 2026 — The Association of Proprietors of Private Media Establishment of Nigeria (APPMEN), in partnership with 7AI, is set to launch a Money Recovery Clinic aimed at helping Nigerian content creators and media businesses recover outstanding revenues from global digital platforms.
The initiative will be unveiled at the ASO APPMEN–Content Creators 2026 1-Day Conference, with the theme: “Practical Steps to Recover Monies Currently Outstanding, or Services Not Paid for, by Key Global Platforms.”
The clinic is designed to equip content creators with practical knowledge and tools to identify, document and pursue revenues allegedly lost or withheld due to issues including policy violations, documentation errors, demonetisation and difficulties accessing appropriate support channels.
National Coordinator of APPMEN, Chief Precious Enebuse, said the partnership with 7AI was part of the association’s efforts to move beyond complaints and provide practical solutions to challenges confronting Nigeria’s growing digital creative economy.
According to Enebuse, creators contribute significant value to global digital platforms and should have access to transparent systems for tracking and receiving the revenues generated from their content.
“We are moving from complaints to solutions. Creators deserve transparency, and they deserve to be paid for the value they create. At the ASO Conference, we will show them exactly how,” he said.
Dr. Kayode Femi will headline the Money Recovery Clinic, where he is expected to provide guidance on some of the common challenges preventing creators from receiving payments from digital platforms.
His presentation will focus on identifying common mistakes and omissions that affect payments, strategies for maintaining compliance with global platform policies, and legal, technical and professional remedies available for pursuing revenue recovery.
Participants will also be introduced to AI-powered tools provided by 7AI, which are designed to assist creators and media businesses with earnings monitoring, discrepancy identification, auditing and claims management.
APPMEN said the conference would enable participants to learn how to identify revenue leaks, properly document claims, access appropriate dispute-resolution channels and use technology to monitor digital earnings.
The event is expected to attract content creators, influencers, skit makers, journalists, media proprietors, digital entrepreneurs and other stakeholders in Nigeria’s creative and media industries.
APPMEN said the initiative was particularly important as Nigeria’s creator economy continues to expand, while many creators still face challenges in monetising their digital content and accessing payments due to platform policies and technical or administrative barriers.
The association, which describes itself as the apex body for private media owners in Nigeria, said it has more than 1,000 members and is committed to promoting professionalism, innovation and economic empowerment within the media and digital sectors.
