Humanitarian Affairs Ministry Celebrates Permanent Secretary Olubunmi Olusanya on Birthday

The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction on Monday celebrated the birthday of its Permanent Secretary, Mr. Olubunmi Olusanya, in recognition of his dedicated service and exemplary leadership.

The event, held at the conference room of the Permanent Secretary on July 6, 2026, brought together the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr. Bernard M. Doro,

members of the ministry’s management team, staff and other well-wishers.
During the celebration, Dr. Doro and participants paid tribute to Olusanya’s commitment to public service, describing him as a leader whose professionalism and dedication have continued to inspire officers of the ministry.

The gathering featured goodwill messages and prayers for the Permanent Secretary’s continued good health, wisdom and success as he continues to provide administrative leadership in advancing the ministry’s humanitarian and poverty reduction mandate.

The ministry described the occasion as a celebration of a remarkable public servant whose contributions have strengthened the institution and supported the delivery of government programmes aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable Nigerians.
