Akpabuyo APC Ward Chairmen visit Barr Edem Ekong, pledge support for his Governorship bid

The Ten Ward Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress in Akpabuyo Local Government Area of Cross River State, NIgeria paid a courtesy call on Barr Edem Ekong at his office on Tuesday April 19, 2022.

The visit was to inform Edem Ekong that they have x-rayed all the Aspirants for Governorship in Cross River State and find him the most responsive. They therefore prayed that he emerges as the next Governor of the Cross River State, if God so wishes.

They also said that Barr Ekong was their preferred choice because of his philantrophic and industrious nature, adding that he has empowered a lot of youths in Cross River State.

Barr Ekong in his remark, said he was overwhelmed by their visit and their vote of confidence in him. He thanked them for their compliments and prayers for his success at the upcoming primaries.

Edem Ekong further added that the ability to create a system where people are empowered is a huge task of Government and Stakeholders in Government. He said that, when the economy of the state is properly re-engineered, people’s standard of living will improve dramatically. “This is the very reason I am contesting in the Gubernatorial Race”.
