Youth Ministry to partner NCC for employment

The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development will explore a strong and viable working partnership with the Nigeria Communications Commission to alleviate at least 7 to  10  million Nigerian Youths out of unemployment.
The  Minister, Mr Sunday Dare dropped this hint at a send forth ceremony organised by his former employer, the  Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to honour him and Senator Ifeanyi Godwin Ararume, both past Executive Commissioners; held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
In the course of explaining the exact nature of the proposed working relationship with the NCC, Mr Dare stated that the Ministry would work with the NCC to close the gap of Youth  unemployment in the country; through knowledge based application of digital skills in Apps,  programming and other ways of communication technology to impart and enhance capacity building of our youths for self employment. and start ups entrepreneurship would be explored and considered.
The Minister seized the opportunity to thank the President, Muhammadu Buhari who found him worthy of Ministerial appointment, and  particularly  for assigning him to Youth and Sports Development Ministry.
The Executive Vice  Chairman of the NCC, Prof Umar Garba Dambatta, earlier in his speech, eulogized the intellectual contributions and team work qualities of Mr Dare, thereby enriching the Board with ideas that positively  impacted the NCC and the telecommunications sector generally.
The occasion was witnessed by the  Management staff of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, led by the Permanent Secretary, Mr Olusade Adesola.
