Senator Alkali mourns the demise of Libidin Gombe.

The Minister of Transportation, Senator Said Ahmed Alkali has received the news of the death of Alh. Muhammad Gidado (Libidin Gombe) with great shock.

The deceased died yesterday after a protracted illness in Gombe, was until his death a respected community leader in Gombe emirate.

In his condolence message, the Minister described death as inevitable on all mortals, maintained that the deceased had contributed immensely in the promotion of peaceful co-existence among the diverse people in the emirate and the state as a whole.

Senator Said Alkali however, prayed to almighty Allah to grant his soul eternal rest and to the family, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

He also extends his condolences to the Emir of Gombe, HRH Dr. Abubakar Shehu Abubakar 111 on the passing away of Libidi, whom he described as an embodiment of peace in the society.
