Royal Father urge Religious Leaders on peaceful coexistence

His Royal Majesty, Hamma Batta of Demsa Chiefdom, Homun Alhamdu Gladson Teneke has implored Religious Leaders to leverage on their unique positions and mobilize members of the society towards peaceful coexistence and becoming strong support system to one another in the face the current economic reality of the country.

The Royal Father made the appeal in a congratulatory message signed by the Spokesperson to the Hamma Batta, Ladi Bala (Nzubylata Hamma Batta), to the immediate past Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Adamawa State Chapter and Catholic Bishop of Yola Diocese, Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza on the successful completion of two tenures as CAN Chairman.

The First Class Royal Father who eulogized the sterling leadership qualities and empathetic human nature of Bishop Mamza, commended his numerous contributions both to the development of the church and Adamawa State as well as promoting unity of purpose among diverse denominations and ethnic groups in the society.

Homun Alhamdu Gladson Teneke also extolled the positive roles and commitment of Bishop Mamza during the wake of insurgency in mobilizing support for internally displaced persons and urged other religious, community leaders and well to do individuals to borrow a leaf from his exemplary leadership style.

He appealed to Nigerians not to be dismay with the current economic situation but be optimistic of better days ahead while praying for God’s intervention and government at all levels to perform optimally.

The Royal Father on behalf of the entire Batta Chiefdom prays and wishes Bishop Dami Mamza God’s blessings,protection and success s he continues with the work of God.
