Post–Presidential Visit to Türkiye: OPSN/NACCIMA to Lead Private Sector Engagement on Implementation of Signed MoUs

Following the successful State Visit of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, to the Republic of Türkiye during which several bilateral Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and agreements were executed, the Organized Private Sector of Nigeria (OPSN), under the leadership of the National President of NACCIMA and Chairman of OPSN, Engr. (Dr.) Jani Ibrahim, FNSE, FAEng., mni, OON, will lead a high-level private sector delegation to Türkiye.

The delegation will engage directly with Turkish private sector leaders, chambers of commerce, and relevant institutions to translate the signed agreements into bankable projects, commercial partnerships, and measurable economic outcomes. This engagement is designed to support effective implementation across priority areas including trade and investment, education and higher education, halal quality infrastructure, media and communications, diaspora cooperation, women and social development, defence cooperation, and the newly established Joint Economic and Trade Committee (JETCO).

The mission will serve as an execution-focused platform, aligning Nigerian enterprises with Turkish counterparts to unlock opportunities in manufacturing, services, skills development, accreditation systems, and inclusive enterprise growth. Emphasis will be placed on converting policy commitments into operational frameworks that stimulate investment flows, job creation, technology transfer, and export expansion.

This initiative reinforces OPSN’s role as a trusted economic partner to government, advancing proactive economic diplomacy and ensuring that the outcomes of President Tinubu’s visit deliver enduring value to Nigerian businesses and the national economy.

The visit of the delegation will take place between 10th and 12th of February, 2026.
