OWIT Nigeria, in collaboration with the Namibia Embassy, successfully hosted the Namibia–Nigeria Trade & Investment Breakfast Meeting at the World Trade Center.
The high-level engagement brought together key stakeholders including the High Commissioner for Namibia, the Ambassador, the Mayor of Namibia, and the OWIT President, alongside business leaders and trade professionals committed to strengthening bilateral relations between both countries.
The meeting focused on positioning Namibia as a strategic investment destination while unlocking trade and investment opportunities for Nigerian businesses under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
Discussions highlighted Namibia’s role as a gateway to Southern Africa and the importance of fostering intra-African trade partnerships.
A major outcome of the meeting was the announcement of a Trade Mission to Namibia scheduled for July, designed to provide OWIT members and Nigerian businesses with direct access to market opportunities, partnerships, and on-ground insights into Namibia’s business environment.
OWIT Nigeria remains committed to empowering women in international trade and facilitating platforms that drive cross-border collaboration, investment, and sustainable economic growth across Africa.
