NPFL: Rangers International, Nasarawa United, Doma FC picks first away point of the season

After a difficult start to the season, Rangers Int’l, Nasarawa United, Doma FC picked their first away point in matchday 4 of the ongoing Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).
Rangers International played out a goaless draw against Niger Tornadeos at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Jos.
At Gombe State, Nasarawa United thought they had secured three points before a controversial penalty was awarded to the home team, which gave Gombe United a point in a match that ended 1-1.
An early goal was scored by Chinedu Ohanacho, former Heartland FC of Owerri player, while Doma FC compounded the woes of Wikki Tourists of Bauchi.
Doma FC who just gained promotion to the elite league, picked their first away point in a goalless draw, at the Tafawa Balewa stadium, Bauchi.

While the late goal by Tiza Samuel gave 3SC FC Ibadan the maximum point at the expense of the visiting El-Kanemi Warriors, it ended 1-0 in favour of Coach Gbenga Ogunbote’s team.
In Akure, the Sun shone on Sunshine FC, after they beat visiting Abia Warriors by a lone goal.
Three goals in the second half, ensured that Lobi Stars defeated Bayelsa United by 3-0. Two goals was scored by the new kid on the block, Kumaga Suur, and Aba Umar got the winning goal for Lobi Stars.
With this result, Lobi Stars is now second on the log, behind Rivers United in the abridged League.
